Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human resources or related field preferred

• PHR/SPHR certification a plus

• Previous 10 or 30 hour OSHA course a plus

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years progressive Human Resources Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience of EEO guidelines and procedures
  • Proficiency in Human Resource laws and ethics
  • Demonstrated compensation/benefits/HR Information Systems knowledge
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking and project management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills


  • Recruits for exempt and non-exempt positions
  • Performs basic payroll functions of time keeping and attendance tracking
  • Manages job-posting process, ensuring appropriate paperwork trail for all positions
  • Monitors the plant compensation, to ensure equity and consistency with company guidelines, and recommends adjustments when appropriate. Performs market surveys to ensure market competitiveness
  • Organizes the administration of all employee benefit programs
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and enrollment meetings
  • Monitors compliance with government regulations regarding equal opportunity/affirmative action, ADA and FMLA
  • Manage the safety program at the plant including the administration of OSHA records
  • Provides employee relations counseling and problem-solving for managers and employees to ensure a productive work environment, consistent with company values, and in adherence to state and federal regulatory law
  • Primary contact for employees and managers to answer inquiries and provide general employee information including: compensation, benefits, attendance, performance reviews/evaluations, discipline, and terminations
