Throughout the history of hydraulic surge brakes, cast iron has been accepted as the standard for brake cylinder construction.
Step aside, Cast Iron!
New leading edge technology unveils superior composite materials and methods that outperform cast iron. Demco uses long glass reinforced nylon in the production of surge brake master cylinders. Demco's new composite construction provides benefits and features not available with other materials:
BENEFITS:
- Strength & Durability
After thorough testing (1 million cycles @ 75-100% of maximum pressure), wear was insignificant.
- Rust and Corrossion Resistance
Corroded parts can contaminate brake fluid and cause excessive wear. This new construction provides protection against these brake system enemies.
- New Molded-In Splash Baffle
FEATURES:
- Composite Material
Long glass reinforced nylon eliminates rust and corrosion of the master cylinder.
- Durability
Extensive stroke testing to over 1 million cycles generated no failure or significant wear.
- Larger Reservoir
20% more capacity insures adequate brake fluid supply.
- Retrofits
The new composite master cylinder replaces existing Demco master cylinders without modifications. Replacement Kits include master cylinder, gasket, bolts, nuts and washers.
